3rd Annual Fundraiser
Wear a Legacy tee to support one of our own!
Last year Legacy Karate raised over $1,000 for this great cause and we can do better this year Legacy!!!
Wear your Legacy t-shirt to class in the month of May to help support one of our own Legacy students and help raise awareness for Eosinophilic Diseases! Miles Conn and his sister Devon suffer from eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). It is an autoimmune disorder characterized by a large number of white blood cells, called eosinophils. Eosinophils cause life-threatening problems when they appear in high quantities in areas other than the blood and intestine. The most common form of eosinophilic disease is eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) which is in response to certain foods. Michael and Robyn Conn are hosting an online fundraiser this year to raise funds that benefit research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Center for Pediatric Eosinophilic Disorders. It is one of the largest programs in the country dedicated to researching and treating EoE. Eosinophilic diseases were unknown 30 years ago, but today diagnoses of them is increasing rapidly. CHOP estimates 1 in 1,000 kids is suffering from an eosinophilic disease. Currently, CHOP treats 1,500 infants, children and teenagers from all over the U.S. with eosinophilic diseases – the largest clinical population in the world. You can learn more about the Conn family and donate by clicking on the link FightingEoE
So help us raise awareness and wear your Legacy t-shirt for a week for $5.00 or the whole month of May for $20.00! All proceeds will support the CHOP research center!
And tune into 6ABC on May 16th at 7:30 pm to watch a feature on CHOP’s Daisy Days event highlighting EoE and a story about The Conn Family!
Don’t have a Legacy tee shirt or the one you have is too small. No problem, Master Versland just ordered 150 tee shirts for this May fundraiser. They should be in before the end of April. See Master Versland for details on the tee shirts.
we appreciate your support
